Winter packages are 3 nights/4 days and include lodging, meals, professional guides, yoga sessions, and use of our barrel sauna & cedar soaking hot tub.

Pricing is based on the number of people in your group.

Hideout Lodge is exciting for everybody. Each guest’s trip is uniquely tailored to ensure they have the most memorable experience possible.

Backcountry skiers, snowboarders, and snowmobilers will be led by world-class guides. Guests that prefer to enjoy winter from the inside looking out will enjoy an in-room massage or attend one of our yoga sessions. In the afternoon, everyone can rendezvous to share stories in the sauna and hot tub. For dinner, our culinary team prepares elevated meals that are paired with local wine and beer.

If you don’t mind traveling light, a private helicopter for you and your friends can be an epic way to arrive to Hideout Lodge. Flights available from San Francisco, Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe.

FAQ

Yes, we’ve set up WIFI in our Saloon which is adjacent to the main lodge.

When you arrive to us from HWY 88 we will have cleared a small parking area with the snowcat. A staff member will be there to greet you and show you where to park.

Although we have guides on staff all touring at the lodge is self-guided. Snowpack stability tests will be conducted by our guides daily. We also provide complimentary access to our state-of-the-art avalanche safety equipment and have a strict check-out and check-in policy that will be explained the day of your arrival.

Yes, private rooms are available as an upgrade. Inquire with our “Book Now” form. A member of our staff will call you shortly and will be happy to review the option of upgrading to a private room.

Yes, we encourage it! When coming as a group, please try to limit the number of trailers as our parking space can be limited during the winter.

No, the property is truly located deep in the backcountry and very few cell carriers work here. We do have WIFI in The Saloon and landline phone.

Hideout Lodge is located off HWY 88 in Kirkwood, CA not far from South Lake Tahoe. Please print driving directions as some cell carriers do not have service in the area.
